SVK is a regional studio for conservation of cultural heritage. Its primary task is to execute interventive and preventive conservation and to be a resource centre for the museums in the region. The studio also has the commission to offer its services to others, such as private collections, public art, archives, churches et cetera.

SVK is part of the Region Västra Götaland organization for nature and culture heritage.
